Most reasonable people will agree that the current health care system needs reform but the majority of Americans also agree that the current proposed bill is not the way to go about it.

Very reasonable post, unless your an America hating socialist. Majority rule is good with the socialist until they are losing on an issue.

I have a question. Under the constitution we have certain rights. Under that same constitution do we not have certain RESPONSIBLITIES? I the answer is yes then what are they?

The 'bills' as they are now will bankrupt this country. Yes we need reform, yes something needs to be done, but forcing people to buy health insurance and taxing businesses are NOT the answer.

There's too many gray areas, i.e., illegal immigrants being covered, abortion being covered. I don't want my hard earned tax dollars paying for these services. President Obama is hell bent on passing this, even though most Americans are against it. Can you say dictatorship?

To not burden your fellow citizen, or compromise his/her pursuit of happiness by taking responsibility for yourself. Most importantly, hold your elected officials responsible by insuring they follow the rules commonly known as the CONSTITUTION!

I love it, Bush/Cheney peed all over the Constitution for 8 years, Shrub called it just a piece of paper and now you guys found it and want to worship it, of course you want to worship your own twisted version but it is just good that you found it.

Actually that lie was perpetrated by some leftist "journalist". Check it out on snopes. There is only one individual, who was not present at the meeting that he was credited for making that remark, who is spreading that lie. I did have a lot of problems with Bush. He did lie. He told us he was a conservative, and he was not.
