We are a very smart and stupid society. Let's for once try something new, because for real, we do not understand the full implecations, when have we ever known actual outcomes.

Congress cannot legally require me to purchase insurance. It's unconstitutional. I want freeDOM not freeSTUFF. The dems can't buy my vote that easily. I am completely against increased govt. power and the notion that the government knows better than I do about what I need.

agreed, the health care plan in it's current state promotes yet more bloated government entities and higher taxes. Let's be smart about this and move to put a cap on frivilous lawsuits and payouts. That in itself would lower insurance costs for doctors. BTW, we can get a glimpse of what government run health care would look like - see Medicare (broke). How can anyone possibly think that the government can succeed at anything like this? Want some more examples? How about Social Security (broke), Amtrak (broke), GM(broke). Let's try something new and stop using tax dollars to fund failures for a change.
