obama is having this transparent change behind closed doors and it is obvious he is not interested in the ISSUES of security for our great nation, he wants total control......this he will not have.

Putting people in jail for not having health insurance ?? The cost is outrageous: " I won't raise taxes on people making over $200,000". It's about being in control, not about saving money or helping people.

too expensive -- no plan -- unknown consequences --

If we don't do health care then: too expensive to run SO/HO and large corps, no plan what to do for all the humans being treated as the bottom line for an insurance middle-man company, and known consequence that USA will continue to trail the rest of the industrialized world. Being a capitalist does not make you an American. We fight for the needy, the oppressed, the hungry, for human rights - find me a corp/lobbyist that does that, they are not America.

too much is unknown about the plan; there is no real plan for healthcare, it seems they (some politicians in DC) want to throw a bill together just to say they did pass "healthcare reform" and have something in place to go with (better something than nothing); it will destroy capitalist insurance companies that will provide better healthcare options; it will limit medical care (ration it); right now we can choose what services we want and whether or not to have them - this bill will take those individual choices away and many, especially the elderly will lose out simply because they are older and most likely closer to death; we have no idea how it will affect the individual right to be in control of their own healthcare needs --- someone else in DC will be making the decision on whether or not you can have that procedure or not; currently individuals have protection through consent to know what's going on and how to proceed through treatment - if this healthcare plan passes, their is NO individual ownership of one's medical care/treatment, it will be dictated to you
