Health Care Debate - Fairfax, VA

The US should finally reach the standard of an industrial country. It is a shame to have more than 45 mio. Americans not covered by any health care plan.

I don't know if Obama's plan is good or not, but something needs to be done. Health care should not be only for the rich.

I'm not willing to pay for health care for 20 million illegal aliens.

Health care for those who are worth saving. If you work at Mickey D's or Autozone as a clerk and you can't afford health care, it's not like you are worth saving anyway.

There are LESS than 25million AMERICANS.

no one should have to pay for health care. It should be a natural right to obtain health care for all americans, provided by the government. Also, corporate companies should not be making billions of dollars over individuals health, it is just not right.

We cannot afford the plan that is currently being offered. The numbers do not make sense. There are no free lunches - anyone who thinks they are getting something for free needs to wake up. Do not so easily give up your freedom to choose and make personal choices - become self-sufficient

This issue is not about providing health care to the uninsured but is about the transfer of 1/6 of the US's GDP to the control of the Federal Government...and the further erosion of our liberty. As others pointed out, those that support this socialist monstrosity are quoting numbers such as 45 million uninsured Americans which has been shown to be an outright lie.

Pete, I agree. I don't want to reach the standard of other industrial countries - to do that we would have to bend over.

the only differences is the government won't denied my coverage and is cheaper.
