We need less regulation of insurance companies so that they can compete across state lines. This would drive insurance prices down and/or the quality of insurance policies up, as they compete with one another for our insurance dollars. Also "Free" universal medical care encourages people to go to the doctor when not necessary (for every little snivel) thus flooding the doctors schedules and wasting taxpayers money, but if people were allowed to have medical savings accounts through their jobs, people would only go to the doctors when necessary because they would have a monetary incentive (they could keep the money that they don't spend from that account). I know a woman in England who told me that the prescription shampoo that I use in not available in her country because it is too expensive so they don't have it available. I also had an uncle living in Canada who had a bad heart and couldn't get heart care that he needed in a timely way and came here for care. The best and brightest college students will be less likely to choose healthcare as a profession as a result of nationalized healthcare because they will no longer have the financial rewards for their many years of schooling and hard work. They can go into a profession that is more lucrative. Less money will be spent on research and development by drug companies because they will not be financially rewarded for the expenses associated with this type of work. This legislation will destroy the best healthcare system on the world, one that draws people from all over the globe.

Daily Horoscope for November 25

Virgo

It will be much easier to communicate with your loved ones; you may even understand each other without words. The ethereal Moon is stimulated by Mercury and Venus, making it easier to understand the underlying theme, even when the words don't come easily. No matter how chaotic things have been lately, you'll still be on the same wavelength with the people who matter.
