Are you kidding me? Why would I even need to explain what makes me opposed to this issue? Anyone who wants the government to be responsible for their health care only need to see how great a job the governement has done with taking care of your retirement to realize why they should vote no!

1) Higher taxes(no matter how you spin it, it will happen.
2) Healthcare for Illegals(spin it how you want that it wont happen, it will).
3) The US govt cant run their current programs, what makes you Obama-bots think it will be better this time.
4) Healthcare? Yeah I have it, its a benefit of having something called a job. Maybe Obama should focus on putting these folks to work at decent paying jobs with benefits like......ummmm.......oh jeeez....maybe healthcare?

Those who oppose it do so simply because it's President Obama's plan or because they've fallen for the scare tactic of attaching scary buzz-words to it... it's "socialism" or it's "communism" doesn't scare educated people. It's a good plan that many Americans need.

American people need it, and I am not foolish enough to fall for the buzz-word and scare tactic campaign by the far right.

We're the only civilized country in the world that has such an antiquated, inefficient system. Others get better for less. Need reform - you bet. Don't worry rich Dublin people, if you're rich enough to afford huge healthcare costs I'm sure you'll still get good care... but I'm glad the government is trying to set up a system that works for those of us in the middle class. The only way anyone could possibly be against reform is if they spend their days misinforming themselves with the propaganda coming out of FoxNews and that used car salesmen Glenn Beck. Wise up - we need reform and God willing we'll get it.

I agree, we do need reform desparately. However, government run healthcare is a sure way to screw all of us. Not just the wealthy but even the poor and the middle class.(By the way, it is not just the wealthy that live in Dublin. I'm middle class and live here.) I've not fallen for any "buzz words" such as socialism or communism. It is simply a matter of being smart enough to see the track record of our government. It sucks, period! It doesn't matter if it is under the control of the Democrats or the Republicans the government can't manage themselves let alone my healthcare. Be careful about acussing those that disagree with the current healthcare reform proposal about doing so only because it is what Glenn Beck tells us to think or believe. There are those of us who don't even listen to Glenn Beck, whom I honestly don't even know who that is. I am not against healthcare reform at all. I am against government run healthcare, PERIOD.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
