I am all for health care reform - don't get me wrong. BUT, this 1000 page legal nightmare isn't the answer; for one thing, it has a loophole you could drive a semi through that will allow illegals to get health benefits (read the blasted thing, don't just take someone's word for it). For another, it doesn't address tort reform. It also doesn't address, at all, our shortage of both registered nurses and doctors, especially general practicioners and OBs, both of which are rapidly losing numbers. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

I support reform, but it should be done incrementally in order to ensure it is done correctly.

The first thing that needs to go is the employer paid health insurance. People should be able to buy health insurance and keep it for life regardless of where they work.

I want nothing from my federal government then the defense of our national interests and the making of treaties abroad. The rest should be left up to state and local governments, churches and fraternal organizations. Butt out of my life Obama.

Its simple .look at the nations with freebie health care . canada is a great example , if you have cancer it could take up to a year for you to get chemo , its all waiting..And this Idea the idiot pres is spewing these days does not take into account one big issue with his plan ..Whos goint to provide this healthcare ..doctors and nurses are over worked pretty heavily as it is , now add 20 million people and no new dr.s nurses , support staff , hospitals , ambulances ,etc .. whats gonna happen ? shoddy care and dr.s who will now pick and choose who gets what treatment ..My 2 cousins are both trauma surgeons ,and both have said if the health care bill gets passed almost 40% of drs are looking to leave the profession. now needing more doctors were gonna wind up with healthcare like the Peking province , no better yet , go check out a busy VA hospital and see what govt run healthcare is about , ask a combat vet how they treat them and thats what the nation will have ..so All these sheeples better get with the program and help your full of fear leader get his head out of his ass and create jobs, not college jobs , regular jobs and forget this healthcare bullshit for the time being

We need "change " allright, but this is just another plan to make the working man pay for everyones equally bad care. Some out there are so afraid that those people who can afford to pay, will get one more pill or one more exray than they do, when in reality, most working folks don't even have the TIME to go to the Doctor anymore.

Because dispite all the rumors, it will save money. Concept most can't grasp. More steps need to be taken in order to reduce current costs, such as removing the anti trust exemption from the insurance companies.
Two, allow for no profits, reduced CEO pay, UHC's CEO makes over $100,000.00 an hour. UHC owns "THE LEWES" group, the source always being cited by the GOP. Allow the third party admin(insurance companies) to collect enough for themselves to cover expenses..Finance Reform needs to happen remove the over $300 million dollars in donations to ALL members of Congress, the amount that has been paid to them over the past 10 years by the industry..
