It's interesting how some "rights" pop up out of no where, and others seem to disappear.

I feel we need more competition in the health care market. To pay for your own insurance outside of a company is extremely expensive. For us to be able to have access to what our representatives in government have would be a huge advancement for the working poor.

What doesn't make any sense is that people actually support public option healthcare. When the government put right in the bill that the cap on premiums for people who make under 88K a year would be 10-12K. Who the hell can afford 1K/month health insurance payment, let alone someone only making 88K a year? I mean, WTF, people must just be stupid to support these bills or the politicians who endorse them. The average family can afford a health care premium of maybe 400/month, tops. That would be really stretching it for a median income family in most parts of the country, and it would be basically an impossible burden in a high cost state like CA.

Medicare, Social Security are both going bust, and people want to have the government run health care? Since when does the govt run stuff better than private industry? This bill is a disaster.

The U.S. has the greatest, if flawed, heath care system in the world. 84% say they are happy with their heath care program and are opposed to government interference. Additionally, our current heath care is affordable, accessible, and easy to use. ObamaCare, PelosiCare, and Reid/Care are overwhelmingly expensive, call for draconian taxes, partly pay for it on the backs of Seniors, and will be ineffective, inefficient, and worthless to the vast majority of We the People. And, one way or another, illegals will be covered under it.

Any elected politician in the Congress who supports any or all of these proposals will sacrifice their careers in the 2010 and future elections. Bet on it!
