I do not want another government boondoggle that offends freedom. My health is my business and my responsiblity. I do not need idiotic government officials making decisions for me. The efficency of the Post Office and the compassion of the IRS? I think NOT.

And that is one of the reasons alleghany's citizens will remain poor. Also, some could use the free coverage, especailly dental. It is not uncommon to see someone with rotton teeth/no dentures cause they cant afford to go. Imagine what their insides look like if their outsides are nasty!
BTW, American citizens were all for it until Fox News called it "socialist". You deserve what you get because every single one of you are going to be "socialists" when you get that social security check. Add welfare checks to the list too..thats socialist. Lord, if you take away welfare, alleghany will starve to death.

I have had the fortune to talk to folks from Finland who have had, for 25 years, the system that the US wants. It's all fine and well until you turn 60. You go to the doctor for a knee replacement and the doctors say "sorry you are not a productive member of the working class".
