This is nothing more than a government power grab. If they were really interested in reform, why haven't they been able to solve Medicare fraud, abuse, and incompetence for over 40 years?

the insurance cartel must lose it's antitrust exemption, and then it's ownership of the senate and house of representatives. This is just one more of its fear tactic thrusts to scare Americans away from reforming the profit making state of affairs in the healthcare industry.

Yep, wouldn't want that old profit motive to keep going. You know, the one that created the greatest country on earth and the most advanced healthcare in the world.

By the way, you do understand that the government has distorted the very same healthcare market (for the worse) that they now claim they want to fix? Funny, but they haven't been able to fix Medicare in 40 years. But let's give them 1/6th of the economy and see if they can get it right this time. Yep, that's real smart. Jeesh...

It's too expensive and forces people to buy insurance or get fined. Too many questionable parts of it to let it pass.

Why should people who have jobs,or self employed people, with health insurance worry about the people who for their whole life never strive to hold a job or work to find a job with health insurance. They sit back on their haunches waiting for someone to give it to them be it the State or federal Government. This I think is socialism! For too long the haves need to give to the haves not, get a job. And now we get all these illegals here who are crying out for help. If they get health insurance then the Mexican government should be sent a bill for the cost. They should already be billed for all the emergency services that were provided them. But this government is too afraid to step on their (Mexican Government) toes. Why? And when are we going to get some legesation, with teeth in it, to deal with all these illegals. Time to change and get out the politians who have been in there forever and also set term limits on them.

will be bankrupting the Government and too much secrecy by the Democrats in the cloak rooms plus not enough input allowed to the Republications. The Congress is too one sided and tries to rush the legislation before all is known about the bills and the costs.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Cancer

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
