The government will always spend more money, time, and tears doing ANYTHING. Let people chose if they want healthcare and where they want to get it. If you really want to help poor people, maybe a subsidized private run option, but thats it.

Lets see 85% of americans like their healthcare, but lets redo the whole thing for the 15% 1/2 of which are here illegally, another 1/4 is younger and only needs cat insurance, why not just add the last few million to medicare and leave everyone else alone, if you dont want it you shouldnt have to have it, this is not about healthcare it is an agenda!
