Americans are a charitable and caring people. The government by taking people's possessions and bestowing these possessions on another (of its choosing) has simply "legitimized theft", for its own empowerment and benefit.

We should be allowed the right to choose where our money should go. The healthcare plans now being considered are just the newest plan to steal another's possessions.

What socialist plan has any government controlled that is an enduring success? So too will healthcare go if it is to be stolen from the People for the government to destroy.

The present healthcare plan proposals will restrict choices and access. It will benefit the plan administrator to the detriment of those in greatest need, that patient suffering a condition that the government administrator can find no benefit in treating.

If you want to be able to even have a teeny-tiny 72 hours to look over the health care deform bill then you need to call your rep. and ask them to sign the Discharge Petition for H.Res. 554.

Go here to find out if your rep. has signed it. They only need 36 more to get it out of committee where the Democrat leadership has had it bottled up for weeks and weeks.

This should be a bipartisan issue.

What kind of shady characters do not want the American people to be able to have time to read the bills?

I've already contacted Marcia Fudge, but she, and all our reps, need to be reminded, in numbers.

It is not the business of our servant government to do anything with health care. This is a Constitutional Republic not a communist country. Read the constitution and you will see it says nothing about health care. It does however state the the Militia being necessary to the security of a free state the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

You will support BO's proposals.

Obama Administration Practicing... Propaganda?

Sen. Charles Grassley is a tad concerned that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius might be using federal funds to propagandize about ObamaCare:

Grassley points to the "state your support for health care reform this year" button featured on the HHS home page. Visitors can send an e-mail to President Obama praising his health care reform plan.

Grassley warns: "Any possible misuses of appropriated funds by the executive branch to engage in publicity or propaganda in support of an administration priority is a matter that must be taken seriously."

He references House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's argument in 2005 that the use of official funds for similar activities were "underhanded tactics" that "are not worthy of our great democracy."

As if basically owning the media wasn't already enough for the Obamunists, now taxpayers have to pitch in even more for the ObamaCare pitch.

Of course. The Baucus plan is a dog with fleas. We need Singel Payor, but I will accept a robust public option that will bring the health insurance bureaucracy to thei kness.
