We need to have all people covered by insurance, regardless of their health condition (present or past), employment, or ability to pay.

John, who do you think will pay for all of this? Do you think your overall cost will go down?

How can one approve or oppose? We don't know what the Obama plan is yet -- and it seems unlikely that we will until it is foisted upon us by a working behind the scenes and in the dark of nite congress.

That is exactly what I thought when i clicked on the icon to vote. I have no idea until I see a final draft. It is a bunch of fear tactics, threats, jargon..... who at this point can make an educated vote? I will let you know after it passes! I believe also that it will be passed in the wee hours of the morning.

So many people are without Health Care. With the public OPTION if you want it you can have it and if you already have health insurance you can keep. It gives competition to the health insurance companies out there. And it's proven that countries with government run health care are healthier and happier with it. The only reason why this bill has NOT been passed is because people would rather see Obama fail than the country succeed. How patriotic is that?

If we first make sure that people have jobs then as part of the compensation we could include Health care just like we include SS.

I personally know people in Canada that have Govt fixed Health care. All doctors get paid and have a quota. The good ones meet their quota by june and take the rest of the year off. DON'T get sick in the end of the year or you will get the dregs!

It's too expensive and the "public option" rewards indolence, improvidence, and irresponsibility.

That you've swallowed everything the media has spoon fed you is cause for concern.

I got health insurance. Screw the poor, let them die in the streets. The only value they have is selling their organs.

Start with TORT reform first!

Obama is a Post Turtle. 'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he sure as heck ain't goin' anywhere, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there in the first place. -- R.F. Conlon

Well you know by now that they did work behind the scene and passed it at midnight. Sneaky democrats. You also know that we the people were not able to read the health care reform bill but what is more important is that it was passed by the house that also did not read it. We have a bunch of liberal minds that are working to destroy the middle class.

The way the liberal mind works is they have to tax (slow down) the people who succeed and reward the people who do not succeed or fail.

At the same time, they say the people who did not succeed are victims of the people who did succeed. They do this so they have a way to attack the people who succeed and to demonize them. This is why liberals "hate" CEOs.

The American Dream is such that people want to come here to succeed, but as we can see, liberalism is the opposite of the American Dream.

Liberalism leads to dependency, a hatred for those that succeed, and the imposition on people that success is evil.

This is why the liberals have kept the inner cities so poor all these DECADES. They basically treat the people in the inner cities as slaves.

And it's why the Liberals are spending trillions of dollars and forcing more debt on us WHILE, AT THE SAME TIME, increasing taxes and regulations that will slow down the economy and prevent a recovery (meaning success.)

What the liberals did to the inner cities is what they are trying to do to the whole country.

It is just plain irresponsible 2 socialize medicine & in so doing marginalize the profession. We live near so many great medical facilities, we tend 2 expect great med care. Medicare 4 all will ruin med care as we know it.
