As bad as medicaid has been administered,I can just imagine a plan this much larger. Doctors don't like to deal with Medicaid.

The government has no business taxing one citizen just to give to another. It's not constitutional, never has been.

Further, healthcare is an individual responsibility, not a public one.

Various morons believe the government is responsible for everything in their lives but are so ignorant that they don't even know that the police have no duty (legal obligation\responsibility) to protect an individual citizen. IOW, you can call 911 while a crime is being committed against you and the cops do not have to come and stop it or save you. They come later to investigate the crime and gather clues to catch the criminal before they strike again, but they don't even have to do that in most cases.

The liberal socialists (aka progressives) wish to disarm law abiding citizens, making us all targets for the criminal element (aka ACORN workers).

And they think government healthcare will be there to save you??
Heck,(government) law enforcement isn't even supposed to do that and nowadays, with cutbacks, police services are being RATIONED!

Those are just the facts and the law.

We need tort reform NOW!!

The United States needs national health care. Health care is not a constitutional right but it's much more than a privilege.

I am for healthcare reform. I support the house version. I don't believe in taxing the so-called cadillac plans. that is a hit on the middle class.

I support a good health care plan. I also like the house version. it has a public option. I do think Obama needs to grow a pair and get tough and not let the republicans define his plan. I think he gives in too much.

I am a veteran and I know first-hand what it's like to have the goverment in between me and my doctor. Plus the fact the VA is NOT required to hire doctors who have a license to practice in Ohio. How would you like someone else making all of your decisions for you, then assigning someone to your care who may have had their license taken away somewhere else? It happens people...every day. Kepp them OUT of YOUR CARE!

The Federal government has NO business in health care. The "General Welfare Clause" says they are to provide FOR the general welfare, NOT provide welfare for everyone.

Maybe that is why we have the biggest prison population in the world?? We live in a police state with way to much goverment now? We don't even have a bill or rights we have the patriot act. They do whatever they want now.

Two things will give everyone a chance for affordable health care. NO state boundaries for purchasing health insurance. More choices = more competition = lower costs. And TORT reform. Law suits should be reserved for REAL claims - NOT foolish money making schemes. Both lawyer and claimant should have to pay all costs for claims proven to be frivolous. This in itself would reduce the claims and costs.

Does that mean Obama is cranking down on welfare? It's about time.

The state won't let him. Ohio needs its crack revenue. A black props a baggie down at any agency and gets a check stolen from whites of course. Blacks are gods here. Forget the other ethnic groups.
