Health Care needs reformed!!!No reason why people have to die in this country, becuase they can not afford health care. The US can spend millions/billions on help other countries it is time to help your own people. Spend my tax dollars on people in my country.

Something needs to be done --- there's people that live right here in Butler that have certain types of afflictions and ailments and, although there are medicines that could alleviate the severity of the problem, they have no option but to die simply because they cannot afford treatment and that's not only wrong, but it should be unlawful

I've been without health insurance before, and it's a scary situation. You wait out injuries and illness longer than you should, because you fear the cost of paying for it out of pocket, or finding out it is something chronic that will label you as having a pre-existing condition that will prevent you from getting health insurance in the future. The current system isn't working. For all those against the current healthcare proposals, I ask, what do YOU suggest to improve the current system?

How'bout expanding Adult Basic? There's a minimum 2 year waiting list for people who already qualify due to income but can't get it.

==========
Completely & whole-heartedly disagree. As long as
this is America, I'm all for destroying all & any
socialist dreams. Politicians especially. After all, socialism or communism is only a plane ticket away. If people want it, but a one-way ticket.

Chad and Crusader .... you guys are obviously members of the "million morans."

I hope you both acquire horrible chronic diseases without insurance. Then you can get well on your own. No help needed! I hear you morans are self-healing.

I didn't sleep with Clinton and I sure don't want someone from Kenya to be in my hospital bed . Keep all form of government out of your life and you will see a change for the good.

There are already programs in place for healthcare coverage...whether it is Public assistance (welfare), insurance or even paying cash. Paying cash often times is cheaper than the insurance coverage. Also, there is the Hill Burton Act...so much free coverage required per year.

We don't need government run healthcare. We've already got programs in place. Public assistance for one and the Hill Burton Act, which requires health facilities (Hospitals), to render free services per year. There is insurance out there for those who don't have it offered by their employers. I sure don't want the government telling me I'm too old to see a doctor, or have a proceedure done. Seeing how they're planning on cutting medicare in this healthcare package the government is pushing.

There was a time when hospitals were "Non-Profits" maybe they should consider going that route, again.

The system is broke. Health care costs increases are three times the cost of living. Something is needed to replace medicaid plus 40 million people that have absolutely nothing. Cost of health insurance on small business has doubled in the last three years crippling their ability to compete internationally. We can't put our head in the sand on This. cannot be ignored.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
