This insanity perpetrated by health insurance corporations is criminal! People lose their life savings and, in many cases, their lives because of medical bills. We need reform NOW.

Substituting higher taxes for insurance premiums IS NOT reforming health care! All of these "government subsidies" and "tax breaks" are just another way to spend taxpayers money, which will then need to be replaced by higher taxes. True reform would address the causes of high health care costs, like the billions of dollars the drug companies spend on advertising and the rediculously inflated prices hospitals charge; ie $2.00 for one aspirin!

All I have heard is negative but living through some of the healthcare on the books now we need change in the worst way. The rich are getting richer and us are get the shaft.

The very best way to destroy a service is to allow the government control of it.

Shall we look once again at the USP vs. FedEx and UPS? The latter are either holding their own, or making a profit. The USP is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Government take-over of health care will ensure that everyone receives the same inferior, or even absent heath care.

The whole health care bill is being rushed through and votes being paid for through our corrupt legislative system. That for one tells me the bill is wrong. In addition, 45% of the recipients of the health care bill who are uninsured are illegals aliens. More wasted money for non citizens who've broken the law. We are totally nuts!

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
