Health Care Debate - Blue Hill, ME

How can we be civilized with out children being protected from illness. I don't want to drive through an area and see 5 year olds begging... we need to take care of Americans

Correct, and taxes can do that. Corporations provide jobs, yet only if they make money. Without taxes, corporations only add to the bottom line. Tax write offs create jobs, not lower taxes. With write offs, corporations must preform. This adds value to both sides. Merely lowering taxes adds value to only one side.

There is no other good option. Private insurers have answered to stock holders but not their patients.

You're correct. Insurance companys only want to insure the healthy. How can anyone call that insurance?

Another terrorist dead, the Pan AM deaths avenged. Thank you President Obama for making the world a safer place. Another murderous tyrant from the Middle East taken out, this time without the loss of a single American life. Again thank you President Obama. As Commander In Chief you have taken on two wars and managed to expand the fight taking out our enemies. In just 3 years you have taken the fight to our enemy wherever they attempt to run and hide, killing them in short order. It is a sad state in our country however, as Republicans cheer a Governor who has executed more innocent people in his state than any other, cheer the death of a 30 year old man because he has no insurance, and boo an American soldier who defends their way of life, safety freedoms and all.

Hey Ru, you're correct. Can you imagine Republicans stopping a chance for soldier jobs, yet, defend the uninsured. Are these Republicans just plain stupid, are do they not care about winning.

It is the fringe that has ruined the party, they seem to have Nazi values. Aside from fact here, an opinion based on their actions and words. But I'm sure it is a fact that a looney fringe is currently running the party.

People like old fart, Ron Paul. I think he's had to many joints in his life. Someone like his wife needs to take him to the beach, and tell him his retired. Hell he almost fell asleep at the last GOP debate.
