This thing Congress is trying to ram through is a disaster that will make NONE of the improvements Obama claims he's looking for, but will raise taxes and premiums, and lower the quality and availability of services. It is true liberal fascism.

The difference between communism and fascism is essentially the nationalism component. So, in the old Soviet Union, we saw the push for the international socialism movement, whereas in, say, Germany, we saw not international, but "national socialism." They were in competition with each other; hence, the Communists attempted to "slander" and discredit the Fascists by claiming that they were right-wingers, when they were not.

It is like today, when the Leftists in the Democrat party claim Joe Lieberman is a closet Republican.

Fascism is a statist ideology, hardly something that you'd find with conservatism.
