There is something not right about this healthcare bill. There are too many hidden things in it.

I went to the bank the other day to talk about my business and plan for the next year and my banking needs. I was made to feel like I had to beg, three years of my tax returns and answer questions to which I had to call my accountant line item by line item, bankers scared to go to their boards to ask for anything and suddenly it hit me that after more than 20 years in business and a credit score of 750 meant nothing. I have a proven business record. Now that being said; look at the record of our Government? Health Care will be another diaster and they have only the people to answer and the same ones keep going back again and again.
We can't vote on health care but we can vote on those that vote on health care.

We need to socialize health care.Like it or not,has to happen.Change is scary. My guess is it will save money for all sides.Think about it,they will be doing away with medicaid/medicare and part 'B'.Pretty much forcing providers to take everyone at a lower cost, like it or not.Currently the system is out of control.Further,it works in other countries, and should work here.
The majority spoke when he was voted in,too late now. But,as you stated,we can vote them out if it isn't too late. But,don't blame the current administration,he,like Carter is trying to fix a Republican mess, and taking the heat. Not much he can do in 4 years.Like Reagon, another Republican will get elected and take all the credit for a recovery whilst they rob us blind again!
Remember the S&L crisis?I do,Bush rehired the same cronies after WE fired them.

People are afraid of change. And I am not very convinced a majority is against it.Remember, that was in his election platform!Further, look at other countries with socialized health care,we are so far behind, and our costs are so much higher.
Moral of the story, just because so many walk off the cliff, don't make it right.

Some (actually a lot) of people aren't scared of change so much as they are scared of what the change will bring. I lived in Canada for many years and know how piss poor socialized can be. If you want to wait longer, and I mean a lot longer to see a doctor or have surgery, go ahead and support this legislation.
At this point the free part you were wanting has pretty much gone away. Your party (Democrats) have almost sold their souls so that they can say that they passed some sort of health care reform. Actually the Democrats have screwed over the working class again and they are too stupid to realize it. Do you still have that Obama sticker on your car? You might want to start thinking about it if you haven't.

Are you aware of the cost of health care now?It needs to be managed better,I am sure we all agree on that. But some is better than none, seems Canadians need to keep that in mind.It works pretty well in Germany and other countries. And our bill was based on that platform until it got watered down.
The Democratic party did not create the current problem, and always seem to inherit a mess, that's why they get in,to fix it until Americans with their ever short memories forget. You will here things like congress did it.The Presidents are the ones spending our money and signing the higher caps.(Reagon,Bush Sr,Bush.)Those are the most recent.Somehow Obama will either fix this or take the blame, like Carter did after the Nixon/Ford fiasco.

The latest national polling on CNN had it at 44% opposed and 41% for.So it is pretty much split down the middle.I would say the majority opposed have health insurance, and the others don't or have a higher premium or pre existing condition. That being said,we need national health in this country.

I know people that have dropped their health insurance with their employer so they could make a higher car payment. Having health insurance IS a choice. Just like car insurance or life insurance.
NO, I don't feel all that sorry for the alleged poor people. They had the same opportunities in public education that I did, they just chose not to pay attention and get an education that would provide them with better pay. Minorities have an even better shot at higher education because the Kennedy experiment of giving preference to them for college loans and grants. Speaking of the Kennedy's their experiment of putting rural student in urban classrooms and desegregating schools to bring what was believed to be lesser studunts up actually brought the better students down.
Back to healthcare... lets say you well intended folks have convinced me we need the government to pay for everyone to have healthcare. Are you ready to pony up another 7% of your pay so that your deadbeat neighbor has healthcare? That is if you have jobs...?

So,your narrow view is that ALL poor people and under-insured people didn't pay attention in school? So this 10% unemployment are all stupid people that didn't pay attention like you did?WOW.
See,many people have preconditions, like cancer, and cannot get insurance or care, and lose their homes. Many are in areas with no or very limited employment, low wage earners, with educations that have to work for low wages with no benefits. There are struggling farmers, adult students, you know, real people outside of your bubble.
And like several million others,I hope that bubble doesn't burst, then again, like so many others, you may learn something called humility.

To My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or
secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply
that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, or religious faith of the wish.

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

That's great,Merry Christmas to you too.Perhaps if we get lucky,Paulin the Pentecostal will get into office, and we will have to endure the other extreme, right alone with women rights being flushed down the toilet.I personally wish another Ross Perot type would come around,we need to get another dominate party in.Oh well,it's prolly too late, with the dems and reps sabotaging the economy for political gain,we will be bankrupt and under a Castro like regime.
LOL.Just joking back.Where does everyone eat breakfast at now?I used to love eating and joking when i lived there some 30 years ago.Really looking forward to moving there.
PS,I won't tell anyone voted Democrat this time around!I was just voting the opposite of whoever was in office.
