At the ripe age of 77 I have long known that ANYTHING that the Govt. is involved in is completely mismanaged, utterly ineffective, cost prohibitive, poorly drafted and improperly reviewed. The speed with which this bill is being rushed thru Congress indicates just how corrupt this bill is. Having worked for or in the govt. at one level or another for over 55 years I have seen enough to make me pessimistic regarding any govt. program.

Well my friend then why stay on your government insurance then, go to the private sector and pay through the nose like us. everyone who doesn't want the government involved is sitting pretty with their low premium government health care while we shell out hundreds a month in premiums for pivate insurance.

Congress folks get great pay and benefits. Check the North Carolina raises and benefits that our own legislators voted themselves lately. Go to http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/ then click on General Statutes

I cannot believe we give foreigners aid and don't care about American Citizens.

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Gemini

This is a good time to take stock of your actions and the direction you're going in. Are your efforts getting you anywhere or leading you astray and scattering your energy? If you're putting in the work but not moving forward, you're not on track. The old adage 'cut your coat according to your cloth' is good advice. Be simple and purposeful and don't waste time with things that get no practical results.
