Every time the government tries to fix something by taking over they always just make things worse. Health insurance is a choice or a benefit not a right. If you are poor their is Medicaid, or Medicare, if you go into a hospital and don't have insurance you wont be turned away. People need to budget in their health care like they do anything else. They are only hoping that if the government takes over and gives them their "rightful health care" then they can spend their money on their new cars, clothes, eating out, and other things that they 'want'. Entitlements will destroy this country. People, take care of yourselves! You are capable of it. We all are!

If this weren't so serious, it would be funny! I just got a letter from my "wonderful" liberal senator Mark Udall who says, with pride mind you, "he is for the president's plan, because it will save us 80 billion dollars". Let me get this right, we are going to spend over a trillion dollars to save 80 billion. Kinda of like the cash for clunkers, we "the taxpayers" spent 3 billion dollars to save 400 million and only 1 days worth of gas. Obama's own congressional budget office has stated publicly, this healthcare plan cannot and will not provide what he promises and he knows it!! Only the federal government can call the above three worthless programs a success. Obama is a two-faced liar who is trying to destroy this country and what it stands for. Thank GOD America is starting to wake up and see him for the fake that he is.

Its about control not health care

If you would rather have large for profit insurance companies with CEO's who make millions make your health care choices, then for it! Some day you or some one you love will become the victim of the Republican "good old boys" endless greed for their large company friends and associates. People just don't get it! The insurance companies have already spent hundreds of millions of dollars to derail any kind of meaningful reform. This is a no brainer! Everyone needs decent health care.

I work it, 90% resouces go to 5% population and these bodies should not be kept alive by are technology. Euthanasia is not an issue here, just because we can keep the shell alive, does not give us the right, Why can't you understand this.

WHOA!!!! Who is supporting these gov supported systems. I beleive it is us, Joe the tax payer, who as it appears have no problem supporting the indigent, nonproductive or those that have nothing to lose. How about our soldiers coming home, trying to make a living, get a job as a janitor that covers his health care but will cost him $900 a month to cover his wife and 2 yr daughter for their insurance. Where are we for them? Now these responsible people, if they get ill, will lose everything. My guess is you're covered and are a little out of the loop or are you just insensitive????
