lets face it Obama picked the wrong motivational tool. The majority of Americans ARE selfish and don't mind that they have something that others don't. In this case, affordable Healthcare. Just as the ones that took offense at Obama telling students to value education. They want the status quo to continue where only kids from selected social and economic backgrounds are prepared to do well in school. They don't want to increase the competition for Higher Ed. dollars.

The so-called 'compassion' of Americans for their fellow man has long been a myth.

So between what I pay, and what my employer contributes, my health insurance costs about $15,000 a year. If I'm forced into a crappy government run program, should I expect a $15,000 raise?

It's amazing to me how many lazy do nothings want something for free... you should have stayed in school, gotten an education, worked harder, and enabled yourself to get a better job that included health care.

Well maybe not everyone has that opportunity. If everyone did just that who would work the low paying jobs likebarbers, gas stations, small businesses, house cleaning , other service oriented jobs? Are these people who work these jobs not entitled to health insurance? As for governemnt run health care programs, you can either take it or not. No one is pointing a gun at your head and telling you that you have to have that insurance. Good health is not only a God given right it is the right stated in our Constitution (promote general welfare), meaning good health, good food and a good enviornment. Sounds to me that you think others should not be entitled to have what you have and I'm not talking about some damn tv either!

OF COURSE THEY CAN! They can pay for it like I do!

Perhaps not, but they are pointing a gun at my head and telling me that I have to pay for someone else...

Here's a reality for you... once employers know that they can put more money into their own pockets by dumping health care insurance for their employees, we'll all be forced into Obamacare. Private insurance will quickly become a thing of the past, and will be the exclusive purview of the wealthy.

I worked hard to earn what I have. I didn't sit around on my lazy ass and expect it to be given to me. So yes, I guess I do expect that others should be ENTITLED to have what I have if they haven't earned it.
