Yes, too many dumb people own them.

Gun laws are not the problem. Crazy people are and people not doing anything about the crazy people when they know a person is crazy and probably dangerous!

I don't believe we need tighter gun laws... I think the problem is with in the department of justice.. Lets bring back public hangings and harsher punishments. Televise these punishments and let's solve some of DOC issues... Stop with the civil rights crap and lets save some money!

I think most problems would be solved if you had to have a psych test before owning a gun. Also, if you ever use a gun in a crime, then you automatically lose your right to own one.

The second amendment is the only gun law we need! Punish the criminal for his crime and leave the rest of us alone!

As in....you kill a perpetrator trying to kill your family Or as in take a gun. To ez mart and rob the clerk? Which are you calling a crime?

When was the last time either of those happened in this town? I think people use fear as an excuse.

The old saying still goes when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. I for one want to protect my family, home, an self. I have carried a gun for many years, haven't had to use it. But I would an will if the need arises.

What would you do if you were awaken during the night by armed robbers that were going to harm your family? Or any similar circumstance? Beg for your life or ?

The greater good would be for the criminals. There is always a way for them to get what they want. Why take away your right to defend yourself.

The second amendment is designed for the citizens to be able to overtake a tyrannical government. Period. 260,000,000 people have been murdered by governments in the twentieth century. That is a very alarming statistic to someone who isn't brainwashed into believing that government is designed to protect the individual.

No, it's pretty spot on. We have been taught to be afraid, so we cling to anything that will make us feel safe. I think we will eventually grow up as a nation though.
