Gun Laws Debate - Shaftsbury, VT
Does the US need to reform its gun laws?

Gun laws restrict lawabiding firearms owners. Rather than wrist slapping criminals, maybe the system should start punishing them.
Studies have shown more restrictive laws leads to an increase in crime. Look at Great Britian, Australia, Canada, etc..
The first step in any country that wants to have total control of it's citizens is outlawing the ownership of firearms.

I'm thinking of buying a house in Shaftsbury, is the town, county or state looking to follow the law created by the morons in NY?

Not at this time. Every new one that comes up gets shot down. So far, we are following both the U.S. and State of VT Constitutions.
