No, because then the federal laws can be made harsh and thus affect everyone.

The United States Supreme Court has consistently upheld the individual right to bear arms. Certain states and appelate courts in those states continue to argue that the second amendment only gives a collective right. The language of the amendment and the original thought , as expressed in numerous quotes and philosophies of the framers of the constitution, hold it to be an individual right.

good people try to do whats right, but there are the nut cases out there walking into movie shows or schools killing innocent people. i think everyone should be able to carry a gun to protect their self and their families.

too many criminals not enough guns

Everyone that wasn't born a felon should have the right to carry a gun. those born with felonies should not. that way only good people have guns. If we lived by those rules, we would never have to worry about craziness.shooting people up. good people born without felonies, never turn bad or commit crimes right?

Cook county officials are main reason Concealed Carry is NOT legal in Illinois. The IRA (Illinois Rifle Association) has support of the NRA in fighting to legalize Concealed Carry. All citizens need to ban together show support for these two groups. Here is a web site to get you started. I Conceal Carry, I am a Wife, and a Mother, and I am Protected!

Should be able to carry!!!

As a victim of an assault and growing up around guns, it only seems natural that I should have the right to conceal and carry to protect myself. Illinois doesn't think so and therefore I had to find loopholes in the law that allow me to be legal as well as protected.

I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

Why do you want to give bears guns?
