Taking guns away from the people that are law abiding citizens will leave the thugs and crocks the only ones out there with weapons, that makes no sense at all to me.

The Law abiding citizens of this country aren't the problem... It's the gang members, drug dealers, and drug addicts that are the problem. the whole country shouldn't have to lose our 2nd amendment over the ones who should be banned from having them. what we need is a nationwide crackdown on illegal possesion of weapons.
