"Bare" arms like no sleeves? I thought that look what out of style years ago...

Oh, you mean bear arms, like a big furry animal...

:)

"They" will never get weapons away from citizens...

There are enough gun laws on the books. Keeping law abiding citizens from arming themselves would only increase crime and more murders of innocent people. An armed society is a polite society. Criminals will always find ways to arm themselves and gun laws will not stop them.

That will be a frightening time indeed. I believe there will be carnage in the streets.

It may be closer than you think. What really scares me is what Obama is going to do to try to assure his re-election. Start a war? Incite riots and anarchy which leads to martial law? Which would lead to confiscation of guns.

Bigdave, I believe that can TOTALLY happen, however, I will not willingly hand over my firearms. I think people would be crazy to do that.

Adolf Hitler disarmed the German people as soon as he could to assure his control over them. History repeats itself and nobody ever seems to learn from it.

The gun laws are fine. We need to reform the penalties for those who commit crimes, and especially for those that commit crimes with guns.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
