I think all citizens should own guns and there should be some simple requirements:

(1) U S Citizenship
(2) weapon must not be more powerful nor capable than those the DOJ sold to the Mexican Drug Cartel ((Fast & Furious))
(3) guns must be registered
(4) Person registering, the owner, must never have been convicted of a felony
(5) Ammo should be controlled in that it is only sold to registered owners and recorded

Reduce crime by carrying your weapon at all times!

Please refer to Georgiacarry.org for any current and up to date information on georgia gun laws.

The right to keep and bear arms (often referred as the right to bear arms or to have arms) is the enumerated right that people have a personal right to firearms for individual use, and a collective right to bear arms in a militia

As passed by the Congress:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Carry On.

Everyday, vehicles are sold to morons who do not know how to properly operate them. Anyone who has access to the money can buy a car, without a background check, and without proving they can properly operate it. You don't even need a drivers license to buy a car.
How many people are murdered everyday by someone driving a vehicle? And yet, you don't hear anyone wanting regulate the sale or possession of vehicles, or the banning of certain vehicles based solely on certain option packages.

Only certain people should be allowed to own a car.
Nobody needs a car that can go more than 35 mph or that has air conditioning.

Think about it.

Completely agree.(with the think about it statement!):p

Here's the thing.

All those people driving around in their cars, speeding, putting on make-up, texting, talking on their phone, eating hamburgers. They all agree that guns kill people. Tell them that their cell phone kills people and they go ballistic on you.

The fact remains that cell phones and cars are at the top of the list when it comes to accidental deaths in this country but they don't want to hear that because you're stomping all over their civil liberties. How DARE you suggest you have just as much right to own a gun as they do to own a cell phone. It's so totally not the same thing. But, somehow, it kind is, isn't it.

I don't like guns, or own a gun, or even understand why people need a basement full of guns.

That doesn't mean I don't stand by the Second Amendment.

I never said I didn't like the smell of gun powder. I said I don't like guns.:p

For 15 years my husband has been trying to convince me that I need to learn to fire a weapon and for 15 years I've been trying to convince him why I do not need to learn to fire a weapon.

I don't need to know or understand why you have more than one different type of firearm in your possession. That's the point to all of this. My OPINION about guns in now way shapes how I feel about your CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to have as many guns as you want.

That's my biggest problem with President Obama. Rationally, I can understand why the man wants to take away all of our rights and tell us how to live our lives and force us into accepting his Obama Care plan. That's the problem. I understand completely.

Obama treats the citizens of the country he pledged to serve as a father would a bunch of willful teenage children. His mentality is that you cannot think for yourself so I will do it for you. You cannot make sound rational decisions for yourselves and so I will do it for you. This rationale is exactly how Obama Care came to be.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America says that you have a right to keep and bear arms. That's good enough for me. My OPINION doesn't factor into it.

I respect your opinions and do agree on Obama. Unfortunately, I did not pull his lever, I was pulling for the little lady to outlive McCain and set the new record in that fashion. This year it is Romney, would of settled for Newt. Maybe Romney will pick Rice, who knows.

I surely don't want to register any gun so the government can know what I have. If you have a carry permit they should know you have a gun if they need to know.
I really never thought about owning an assualt type gun until the bunch of idiots in DC and liberal media start telling me I can't have one. these politicians and entertainers, especially the ones who have body guards irk me to no end when they get so pious about us commoners having weapons.
If someone wants to by assualt style weapon they should have requirements different than a hand gun with a big clip. I don't know just thinking out loud.

Love could catch you by surprise today. You might be strongly attracted to someone who isn't your usual type at all but who makes your knees go weak all the same, or you could get caught up in an illicit relationship that's exciting because it has to be kept a secret. If you're already involved with someone they'll need plenty of freedom and won't appreciate feeling emotionally tied down. You need to let them off the leash for a short while!
