I understand this is off topic but I am interested in your input. I have been watching the campaign commercials and am wondering, rather than putting smoke and mirrors out there with deceptive advertising; what's wrong with the candidates simply saying what they mean. Obama would say that he believes in socialism, that government’s responsibility is basic human rights including redistribution of wealth creating equal access to recourses. Romney would say that he believes that each American is responsible for achieving the success in life that they want to live and that the private sector is responsible for caring those less capable.

The right thing to do never requires any subterfuge; it is always simple and direct.
