1 Handguns prevent Crime
2 Provide safety to individuals
3 Would violate constitution - individuals right
4 Would end many enjoyable hand gun activities
5 Would end education programs on proper
hand gun handling and use
6 Would not reduce the number of persons who which to have handguns illegally
7 I believe crime would likely increase
8 Individuals would no longer have the last means to defend their life.
9 Only the criminal element would have illegal access , as usual, to what ever they want, responsible individuals would loose what little rights they have left. Is there anything the government can't take away?
No guns = no revolution to oppressive governments - French, Russia, Castro, Hitler, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION - not that handguns would be any good today but just a thought.

Only citizens that follow the rule or laws would be without handguns, they are not the problem to begin with. Criminals would not turn in their guns but they would know that everyone else is unarmed, we would all become the sheep wih the criminals being the wolves, what would stop them from walking in your home and taking over, killing you and your family, they know you have no defense.

Too much killing everywhere. Criminals should never have an advantage over the law-abiding citizen. Guns in the hands of the citizen will ensure a favorable condition for him/her. Thanks for your agreement.

Schools are safe haven to deranged killers because they offer no resistance. Proof that banning guns does not work because the criminals will carry even if they are banned there. Funny how outlawing guns in school zones did not work as gun control advocates said it would, in fact it only made school zones easy targets as gun rights advocates said it would. Why are gun shops and gun clubs never robbed or attacked? Have you ever heard of a police officer being mugged or could it be because they carry a gun and will use it.

I don't know what the deal is over there in Haddington, UK, but perhaps you didn't get the memo. Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown, and you folks signed the Treaty of Paris. In it, you agree to stay the F out of our business. See that you do so. Now piss off.
