Yeah, that happens so often. More likely scenario is I'm at a gas station when a robbery goes down, rather than just shut up and get through the situation, Billy Bob CCW decides his untrained .45 wielding butt is going to be a freaking hero, but...shooting a person in a pressure situation is a bit different than shooting a squirrel off your front porch, so Billy Bob shoots the cashier, then bullets are flying all over and people get hurt over what money is in their pockets and whatever was in the cash drawer. No thanks...as Johnny Cash sang "Don't take your guns to town.."
Actually, during the CCW class you are taught that you can be held liable if this situation insures as you describe. There is a very fine line one has to straddle to legally use a firearm. When you pull your gun, there only one step left. I mean once a bullet is fired there is no turning back. I have a CCW permit and welcome all responsible citizens to get it as well. It's funny, I am only assuming here. But I bet if you were at a gas station and saw some cracked out fella was robbin the place and shot the cashier. You would turn coat in a heartbeat if you or your buddy had a firearm. Same as if you had to watch a loved one get raped and murdered. You liberals are all the same, want the best of both worlds.

I like our constitution and the Second Amendment. I am getting sick and tired of people wanting to change it! Change sucks and so does Obama! Take his change and go change some other country.

You know what they say about assumption right? In those situations if I had the means to stop the problem I would do so, in the case of my family I would use whatever weapon of opportunity to stop any action against them. But I forgot that since I disagree with you on one point it must make me a skirt wearing pansy. I primarily vote republican, and I am a veteran and a VFW member. I've been in harms way and I can tell you that even some of the best trained people sometimes do some real dumb stuff when big situations come up. The danger in people having guns, is that there are very few instances where they are going to remember the minimal amount of training they get when it's time to use deadly force. That's my primary issue with CCW, and with many of the assumed freedoms associated with the 2nd amendment. Why is Trayvon Martin dead? He's dead because some dumbass with a gun shot an unarmed teenager walking down the street. Was he killed in a drug deal, a robbery..no. Joe the plumber shot him and then claimed he was scared. The British aren't coming anymore, and if you fear our government, vote.

Why in the 21st century are we discussing this. Law abiding citizens in truth are what keeps total chaos from happening. If the criminals were to know hat everyone has no handguns or personal protection. Crime would quadruple overnight. Of course that would be fine for the liberal handout seekers. They would expect the authorities to protect them. Which just wouldn't happen.

I think what he's getting at is that that provision in the constitution was intended for the formation of a militia, using muzzle loading weapons of limited range. What has changed, is the number of people, the technology of guns, the formation of municipal police and the 911 system. Not many people live in the wild frontier now, and generally the gun loving folks who are also "anty-gubbermint" are looked upon as nutjobs. If you morons want to play with guns so bad, sack up and join the army.
does the "provision" you are talking about say tha every man shall have the right tokeep and bear arms? only a liberal would try to justify gun control by twisting the constitution into something its not. yhe right to keep and bear arms is the most important constitutional right we have. ithas kept this country free. when the pinko libs finally get the guns out of the peoples hands, we will be living in a police state. no longer a republic, but closer to an totalitarian dictatorship. with general obama, who isnt even a citizen of this country, at the helm, installed for life. as for me, come and try to take my guns. if you uneducated libs love your country so much, why is your only goal to twist my beloved home into a utopian communist paradise where only those in power have anything and live on the backs of the people. if you dont want a gun dont buy one.

If you witnessed that teen getting shot you need to step up and tell what you saw. If you didn't see it with your eyes or hear it with you ears don't talk about it with your big mouth. All anyone knows about that shooting in Florida is what the news has told us. Not a defense to take my guns!

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Leo

You need to vary your domestic routine slightly today to avoid feeling bored or restless, especially if the day threatens to be rather predictable. Think of ways to introduce a note of spontaneity into the proceedings, even if they're very minor, because they'll make you feel more lively and on the ball. If you're going shopping you'll be tempted by some impulse buys.
