Do we really believe the people who would rob, assault, rape, and kill us care about the law that says they cannot have a gun? These people do care about the armed citizen who might spoil their plans to rob, assault, rape, and kill us though!

The bill of rights and the 2nd amendment to the constitution guarantee the right to bear arms. This does not include felons or violent offenders. Rather than attacking law abiding citizens why not impose very heavy penalties on the criminals who carry them and especially those who use them to commit crimes rather than giving them a slap on the wrist

No one is trying to ban handguns right now. Where is this coming from?
Go online and look for Hillary Clinton hand guns. There is a lot of effort to join an agreement with the UN to ban small arms. Since when does the USA agree to make an agreement that is unconstitutional?

Do you think the statement I made to "Johnson" was right?

Then you had better stop believing people on the internet perhaps?

The second amendment is not about hunting for your dinner. It was and is about the citizens being able to protect themselves from a government that has decided not to protect the Constitution and more or less trash the Republic for another government. A good view of this is going on in Syria right now. The government is using its power to stop a rebellion of the people. Remember, the people who fought to throw King George out of the area were British Subjects when they declared independence. It was a good thing for the rebels to have the weapons to repel the biggest and strongest Army in the world at the time. Today it would be and is a crime to incite a riot. What would it be called if a majority of armed citizens stood up and declared the current government of the USA as incompetent and called for new elections? I'd hate to think about it, but the question is, Is it constitutional for the citizens to band together and do that?

Don't believe everything you see today and your memory could be playing tricks on you, too. You might remember things in a distorted or false way, through no fault of your own. You may also be reading too much into the situations that are going on around you, making it hard for you to know what's really happening. Try not to make any big decisions today because you simply aren't thinking straight.
