LLL, This petition has been withdrawn as of February 2 2011. Evidently there are too many gun owners opposing it and the proponent who wrote it decided to let it go until the 2014 election and let other legal actions take precedent. I sense strong arm tactics here. Anyway as Josef Stalin said. It's not who votes that counts. It's who counts the votes. ie: ACORN. What a shame. I actually saw a minute glimmer of hope for California and that will be my last, no matter what I read or hear. This kinda crap is a waste of everyones time and effort thats trying to save whats left of this once great Nation.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment

The Issue was put to the final test and the Voice of The Supreme Court rang clear.*The People* have the right to *keep* and *bear* arms ..etc. The judges clarified that it meant to apply to Citizens, not militia. The states and cities should not even be arguing over anything less than a machine gun maybe.

Yes some things will go wrong, and some will be punished. Just like anything. It happens with Cars, Matches, Boats, Knives, etc. Some intentionally, some not. All of these items are still allowed for the greater good. Hence the second amendment was put in place to ensure that for us all. I'm sure they had problems then too.
