Gun Control Debate - Livermore, CA

Gun bans are a sure way to make sure only the bad guys are armed.

Gun control=people control.

And the government doesn't want to share. They rule by force and coercion - basically, might makes right.

Wouldn't want to have any victims stand up to bullying. That's bad for the racket.

Look at the economy and the crime rate. Just because you don't hear about the crimes does not mean it isn't happening. Love the country, do not care for the government. Hands off my rights as a law-abiding citizen.

This is my country, my city, and my home, our forefathers, ha d the wisdom to ensure that we as AMERICANS, retained and continue to the right to bear arms. When are we going to stand up and fight for decency, order, and the commitment to the removal of any individual, or government entity that threatens our right to bear arms. Livermore's famous 'Hummer Mom,' Christine Shreeve Hubbs, was doing her part to make sure the kids were armed and in practice while she was raping those boys.

Too bad she was only having them shoot at people on bicycles, rather than those loud sportbikes that speed through town.

NEVER, EVER!!! wait until a large scale disaster and criminals and gang members run rampant in our city. what will you do then, become a victim??? if you choose to that's fine but don't expect or demand that i do the same. only a fool believes the police can/will protect them if things get really bad. being self sufficient is the only way to be safe, and that means being armed and prepared to defend yourself and your family. anyone who loves their family and knows what the streets are like will be armed.

Uh, HELL NO! If guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns-and guess what, the bad-guys will be happy to know they can enter your home any time of the day or night, and rape-rob-murder you and your family members, without so much as a single beat of fear that you will be able to fight back. Even law enforcement is against a ban on firearms for law abiding citizens-it makes there job easier! Not to mention, the Right to Bear arms is Constitutionally protected under the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights. Freedom is worth fighting for-so don't give it away-once lost, never to be regained.

When the bad guys come, who ya' gonna call? I'll call on Smith & Wesson. Police might not come for 90 minutes or more. By then the evil is done.

Are you KIDDING?????? If there was a ban, then ONLY the criminals will have the hand guns. I would say the ones that support the ban have good reason. They might want the ban so when they go rob you, they will be the only one with the gun.
