It would be a slippery-slope before our 2nd Amendment was violated further. Most rifles & shotguns can be made into a handgun with a hacksaw in ten minutes.

So then only criminals would have guns? No, thank you.

The 2nd Amendment is vital to all responsible citizens. Responsible for my own actions, responsible for protecting my family, responsible for protecting this country, etc, etc, etc.

Leave the 2nd Amendment rights where they belong - the hands of the people.

Passing a gun ban would not only violate the 2nd Amendment, but would only allow criminals the opportunity to possess firearms while law abiding people will not. Numerous large scale cities have passed firearm bans that still maintain high amounts of violent crimes related to firearms. Evidently, the criminals did not get the memo.

True, by a marginal win, but true. So, that percentage of People that voted him in.....KNEW he was going to use the Office to turn Wi., into a chaos epi-center!? By his Bill passed, in a way that strips even you,his support system down the line, to a State rule that robs ALL Wisconsinites of thier inalienable rights to Democracy and Constitutionalism (2nd. Ammendment inc.)by his Dictate alone!? You're right,I'm crying you a river, cause the bright, shiny, red apple you bought, has a big ugly worm in it! You just haven't bit in that far yet. Then what?

I don't blame you for your way of thinking. I blame the TV news and other outlets for continually using the term "stripping wisconsin workers of their collective bargaining RIGHTS". Now you actually believe they are human or civil rights. These aren't rights. Public employees had these "privileges" awarded to them by the state, which was a mistake. Now they have corrected that error just in time to stop the state from going broke because of these abused "priveleges"(I hope). Rights are not awarded by any state. Rights (like life, liberty, and the pursuit of hapiness) are inherent in each person's diginity as created by the Creator. States can't grant these rights, but states can deny them. The privilege to collectively bargain for benefits as a group of public employees represented by a union, when they have a monopoly (no competition), and their union funds one of the two parties in power, does not belong in the category of "rights", and should be limited when abused.

banning any type of gun is not up to any government or government official, whether it be local, state, or federal......bearing firearms is a right that cannot be infringed.
