Why would I put myself in a position of not being able to help myself and family? The police aren't going to be able to help in time. The system needs the criminals, needs the money obtained from incarceration, programs and fines. They don't like average citizens removing x amount of money. That is why they make it harder for someone to defend their lives and property.

A handgun has saved my life twice. Being a small, ill woman, I much prefer the stopping power of a handgun over the wishful thinking of 911.

Handguns are our only real defense against marauding illegals in Houston. Police don't do anything if an illegal is involved.

Guns should be in the law biding citzens hands to protect them self's from thugs who don't want to work, and steal from the hard, honest citizen. Convicted felons should have no access to any weapons or firearms.

Mexico banned possession of almost all weapons in the 1913...and ever since its been rife with corruption. No one can defend themselves.
Now Mexicans are unable to defend themselves from billionaire drug cartels who have murdered over 1000 police officer this year, 7 mayors, and over 17000 citizens.
You take away gun, you no longer have ANY freedom. You then rely upon the government to be your master.

a unarmed person is a victim,
a armed person is a citizen.
The 2nd amendment says it all!
why do you people have to try and pull this crap when it isn't gun owners that accidently shoot people, It's the criminals that kill people. Ban criminals from having guns instead of making citizens unarmed victims!!!!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
