Should we Ban handguns in the USA? Absolutely not.
For one, the Constitution's Second Amendment was created to help ensure that the People of the U.S. were armed, armed wherever they went if they so chose. The recent history has been a horrible shadow of the 2nd Amendment, in which citizens are required to first gain permission before owning or bearing those arms.
Further, in nearly every place around the world where there has been wholesale disarmament of entire peoples, a dramatic rise in the incidence of crime has occurred (ie, Britain, Australia). All too frequently, as well, horrific crimes on a grand scale such as ethnic cleansing has occurred in the wake of such disarmament (ie, WWII).
The only thing achieved in the ostensible attempt to eliminate guns is to ensure that the only ones left with them are criminals.

Guns are a Constitutional right (Bear Arms), the constitution has already been weakened too much.

Handguns are not a problem, except when wielded by gangs, or police officers. Both use them inappropriately. Handguns for private citizens is necessary, as they are close-range protection for both of the above stated offenders.

A poll like this is criminal. To even entertain such a thought is ludacris.
