Gun Control Debate - Eden, NC

i think you need a gun at least in your home for protection but having it in a car riding around is not good.

because we have the right to defend ourselves ,against the enemy. also its what the government wants to to is weaken the people .

THE 2nd AMMENDMENT RIGHT. how about making it manditory (18yrs and older) to own a gun, recomend carring at all times. crime rate would drop. you are not going to break & enter, mug, rape, etc. etc. etc. if you know the person that you want to make a victim can defend there self. if hand guns or long guns were banned only criminals would have them and the honest, hard working, law abiding citizen could not defend there self,there family, or there property against a violent offender that will have guns whether they are allowed or not.

No way - we have lost enough already! Hitler supported a gun ban & so did Stalin.

I feel I need to protect what I have from whoever is intending to do any unjust action to my home, property, family, myself or anything that I pocess. In today's society, I think responsible people have the right to protect themselves from anyone trying to do harm in anyway.

everyone needs to carry a gun. in the most recent shootings in arizona not as many would have been shot and killed had everyone had a gun. someone would have shot and killed that idiot and the taxpayers wouldnt be feeding that S.O.B.

I disagree. Just because it's a right, it should not be mandated that everyone exercise it. It's called the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs. We have enough people & polluticians already telling us what we NEED to do.

Not true. There were 2 CCW holders in close proximity and bot correctly assessed the situation and neither had a clean shot at Loughner.

If guns are banned, only criminals will have guns.

for safety reasons,wouldn;t feel safe without gun

I think the way this world is going everyone by crimals should have guns to protect them selfs.

With proper training and common sense, there is no problem with handguns in the right hands. With budget cuts everywhere, including police, you have to defend yourself in some way. Key word is DEFEND though.
