[all the criminals in their coats and their ties are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise.] Ray

Corrupt judges and police rank right up there.

These people made a good wage and wielded a lot of power. The coroner didn't test her body temperature when he arrived at 8pm on the 26th.

Police officers take an oath to serve and protect citizens and are compensated by you and me. Under the law, they have a "duty of care" to meet to perform their jobs. Not only did they fail to come close to achieving that standard, their conduct was outrageously sub-par, negligent and perhaps at times, criminal.

As a result, they caused unimaginable pain and hardship to innocent folks. They subjected them to incomprehensible humiliation, grief and public condemnation without cause.

How does a detective keep her job and any credibility when she announces publicly that she knows without a doubt that the killer is the father? When asked how she is certain, she proudly proclaims, to paraphrase- When our eyes met, as he placed the girl's body on the floor, I knew.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Libra

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
