These people made a good wage and wielded a lot of power. The coroner didn't test her body temperature when he arrived at 8pm on the 26th.
Police officers take an oath to serve and protect citizens and are compensated by you and me. Under the law, they have a "duty of care" to meet to perform their jobs. Not only did they fail to come close to achieving that standard, their conduct was outrageously sub-par, negligent and perhaps at times, criminal.
As a result, they caused unimaginable pain and hardship to innocent folks. They subjected them to incomprehensible humiliation, grief and public condemnation without cause.
