In the "Holy Books" marriage is defined as a union between MAN AND WOMAN, NOT as man and man or woman and woman. What ever they do in there bedroom is fine by me, but don't force yourself up to the rest as being a COUPL.

An appeal has been filed. Might hold the wedding date for a bit.

Marriage is between >>>> a man and a woman....
Marriage was established in the church.... the bible does not condone the sexual behavior of homosexual people . < period. end of story.

I am so sorry. I do know a gay couple, but they do not believe in marriage either. Look at the marriage stats. This will just back up the courts with more divorces because of the bed hopping most homosexual people do. < period. end of story

Equal partner rights is something to explore. For health care benifits and such. Tax reasons maybe?
Instead of marriage let's have >> Equal Partner Rights.

Well, I think when someone falls in love, they ought to be able to say "Dang, you're pretty cool lets kiss and shove cake in eachothers faces and stuff" despite whatever bits they have.

Because hey, that sounds pretty awesome.

You know, It could be said "marriage is between a man and a woman" Because yeah, in the bible, it is. But marriage these days end in divorce. So two people in real love can't get married, but a straight couple that has now eachother for 5 minutes can get married. Obviously the meaning of marriage has already been diluted.
If we should REALLY go by the good book, lets all kill wives who weren't virgins before marriage, not get tattoos or piercing, not shave, pray every night, not have sex until we are married, and have slaves. Those are all things that are encouraged in the bible.
You cannot pick and choose the laws of the bible that you want. Lets face it. This has nothing to do with the bible. It has to do with you feeling uncomfortable, which is childish.
If you don't want a gay marriage, don't have one. It is not affecting your life in any way. The only way gay marriage being legalized could affect your life, is you may see homosexual couples with rings on their fingers. That is more or less it.

Why would you rather see two men holding guns than holding hands? Love is love. Whether it's between a man and a woman, a man and a man, or a woman and a woman. Yeah, in the bible it may say that marriage is between a man and a woman, but if you're going to take that side, why would God make gays if he thought they were wrong? Every person has a right to get married, whether they're straight, gay, or somewhere in between. How would you feel if your rights were taken away just because you were attracted to the "wrong" kind of people?

You can't control who you fall in love with. The heart wants what the heart wants. Let bygones be bygones and get on with your own life instead of trying to control others.

I do not want anything to do with it or anything to do with anyone who is into it. I know what I think does not make any difference, but just do not involve me or expect me to say "Oh Goodie" and throw rice.I will not be voting for any candidates who are for it either.

I do not care if the law says it is ok or not.I can`t do anything about that but I can avoid having anything to do with people who are into it.I got plenty of friends who agree with so I am not worried about being all alone because I don`t agree with it. I also do not care what anyone who is into it thinks about me.
Just leave me alone we will get along fine.

Why fight what is natural. Private lives and loves deserve to be private, and the government does not have the right to tell anyone who they cannot love. Of the people, by the people, for the people. You can't stand there and oppose it simply because it's not your own personal preference, because it's not any of your business who people love. Didn't your mother ever tell you 'not to worry about what timmy is doing and worry about yourself'? This applies to this situation. My reasons for supporting are not even reasons, they merely are. Just facts. People love, and that is one of the most natural instincts we have as human beings.
