Why don't we go back to the Biblical system where you can buy someone's daughter regardless of what she thinks?
Or better yet let's do the Deut 22:28 principle, where if you rape someone, you have to buy the girl for marriage.

why do so many people try to make personal decisions for others. this world would B better place if everyone would "clean up their own backyard". and acknowledge truthfully what they see in their own mirror.

Gay people don't need to copy straight people. If they want to be different, they can make up their own institutions.

It's immoral and is mentioned in the Bible as an abomination to God. Since this country was founded on Judeo Christian beliefs, and is the reason we have been the most successful country in the world. This is no time to abandon those fundamental beliefs that have made us who we are as a Nation.

What makes others think that they can be the moral voice of others?

Gay marriage is so very wrong,(read the bible) it is against God's command, but if that is what they want so be it, I do not judge a person by what they want they are a part of society and should not be treated as an outcast, so if that is what they want go for it!

I believe gays and lesbians should have the roght to marry in a civil ceremony or in a church that will marry them- it's about equality!
