Marriage is not a right.

If it were, why would you need a license to get one?

Since certain legal right are connected to marriage, I question if a ban is even constitutional.

If you don't like same sex marriage don't marry someone of the same sex. It really is that simple.

I would vote YES!! Why do people have so much of an issue with it why because the "lord" says its wrong, well does the lord knows what makes people happy?? who cares if its with the same sex, as long as there are happy, there aren't hurting anyone. If you dont like it dont look. I love how NH is Live free or die , so how the hell can you live free if you cant marry who you want.. really.

Danielle Burroughs says they "aren't hurting anyone." But of course they are: the children. Study after study shows that in general children are better adjusted when raised in a home with both biological parents. Children need mothers and fathers.

So not true. There are plenty of recent studies showing chilldren with same sex parents are doing better in school, are better adjusted in society, are less prone to mental health issues etc.

ROTFLMAO !!!

And you found these studies where - on a gay blog???

This is an area that doesn't even require a study. Common sense dictates that a normal family situation is best. I cannot imagine being an innocent child inprisioned in a homosexual household. I would never go outside!

It is true. Sweden actually changed it´s adoption laws a few years ago because of overwhelming proof of this.

Sweden had this law since 2003. I believe the Netherlands were the first to allow adoptions by same sex parents. Please do a google search. Some scientific databases are only available if you are authorized by a university as a student or scientist, though.

So can I take that as an admission that you have not seen this "overwhelming proof" yourself?

I have while at school (university). More important, governments have. These adoptions are legal in many countries.

Stick to the point, please.

Where is the "overwhelming proof showing chilldren with same sex parents are doing better in school, are better adjusted in society, are less prone to mental health issues etc."

I submit that you don't have any.

For those who say adoption by same-sex couples is just the same as a child being raised by both of its biological parents, I have this question: Do you also believe that a child raised in a single parent home has the same advantages of one raised by both biological parents? What advantage does a same-sex couple offer over a single parent household (besides, perhaps, more money)? The point of a man/woman family is that the child learns different things from the feminine mother and the masculine father.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Sagittarius

You're in the mood to spend today, especially on the spur of the moment. Be careful if you can't afford to make any impulse purchases, because a lack of cash won't stop you! If you do decide to splash out on something, you may be disappointed when you get it home and you might even decide to take it back.
