Gay Marriage Debate - Wiscasset, ME

Yes i do because the constitution clearly states that we are all equals but are we really treating gays and lesbians equal. No we aren't. They have just as much right to get married as anyone else.

It's only politically correct in this day and age. It's only right.

Being patriotic is supporting your neighbors not dividing our nation. If you had people wish you well at your wedding...it would ruin the intent and spirit of your guests to then turn around and not wish this good spirit for others.

I've paid taxes all my life. I've raised a son with my partner. We've bought 2 homes in 2 different States and paid State and Local Taxes on them. We;ve been together for 43 years. Why should she be treated as nothing more than an aquaintance when I pass away? She is my wife and entitled to everything any other spouse is entitled or responsible for. We're not asking for one single thing special. Just want to be treated "Equal" as the Constitution of the United States of America states, not as second class citizens.
