Gay Marriage Debate - Winsted, CT

I feel that marriage should be in the hands of the church and not the government. Separation of church and state. Let the churches decide who they want to marry int he eyes of God.

people say that love is supposed to be between a man and a women, but why? just because "god' says so? We're supposed to live in a free country. When were not allowed to marry the person we love, were not free. You should fall in love with someone because of the way they make you feel, they way you make them feel, the moments you share. Not because of what they have in their pants.

You meaning "Free" as in doing what you desire and want to? Let me tell you something. One of these days all of these gays if they don't turn from the evil ways of doing. Are going to be cast in the lake of fire. And yes because God said so. I want to be on the lords side, when the judgements of God fall on this earth. Just about every church up there in Torrington, CT will let a gay up and sing in church. And support their evil ways of doing. And they to will stand before God. Even as I will.. But I know one thing. I will not haft to stand there before God, for being a QUEER !

I am a lesbian in a committed relationship for 20 yrs now and believe that we should be able to marry and afford all the benifits that come from being legally married just like heteasexuals.

You know... think about it ... how many successful heterosectual marriage do you know? I think we should start being more respectful and loving to the people in our lives -- whatever their sex - with coworkers, family members, lovers, friends, etc. Let's create a healthy environment for our children and put them first.
