Yes Lucy, they are very wrong! You can't feel that way or say such things about people. I have thought much about this and I think the Catholic Church has it right. You can't help being gay, but you should have sex with no one outside marriage, so you should abstain from that. Now marriage is up in the air. The Bible doesn't discuss gay marriage, but I don't believe God would purposely leave out something so important. It's all very confusing to me, but I do know we should never discriminate or judge a person. We just have to follow our hearts and do what we feel he truly wants. He won't steer us wrong. Once we are gone, it's too late to change our feelings or actions.

There are two good reasons that anti-gay people should SUPPORT gay marriage and here they are:
1) What anti-gay people are really against is gay SEX. What better way is there to get two people to stop having sex that to let them get married. It worked for me and my wife.
2) I think gay people have every right to be just as miserable as the rest of us.
Oh yeah and another thing... let's stop using the word "homophobe" or "homophobic" to describe a person or feeling associated with not LIKING gays. A phobia is a FEAR. I may not LIKE gay people or their ways but I'm not AFRAID of them.
I'm only afraid of spiders... and women named Betsy. Come on, ladies, just call yourselves Betty and stop trying to be so cute!

How is it that thumpers use quotes from the new testament, "written (supposedly) by Paul, a known hunter of christians, yet seem to ignore other ones. If you look at thumpers, you would find many of the wives work outside the home. That many of the wives are not subordinate to the husband That many of theses thumpers are on their second or third marriage. When none of the previous marriages ended due to adultery. That the thumpers church will marry nonadultery related divorced people. That many thumpers do not tithe 10% off the top. The list goes on and on and on.... Now Conservative, maybe you are the exception. Maybe you and your family and church follow all aspects of the new testament.... doubtful but maybe. The point is Thumpers tend to be cafeteria Christians. They take a big ol helping of anti homo., pass on the subordinate wife (heck even their wedding vows said cherrish not obey), pass on the tithe (realy cant afford that at this time).. take a little of the wife working (it is only part time).... you get the gist.
