No, I do not support Gay marriage, it's insult and travesty to males and females.

As long as it's not performed in a house of worship, the bible talks about Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve.

I wouldn't mind if they were married by a justice of the peace. But once they cross into the house of worship in front of G-d, I have a problem with that. The bible talks about Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve.

Marriage is a basic civil right -- more than that, it is a HUMAN right, and should not be denied based upon the relative genders of the participants of the marriage in question. The United States is forever going on about its pursuit of liberty and equality. Why then, should conditions be held about the freedom and right to marry when such conditions contradicts those beliefs in freedom and equality? Marriage is a human right for all.

Support love, it keeps us human.

I don't understand what there is to explain. People are people, regardless of their sexuality. Do people think racism is okay, no. So why is it okay to judge people based on their sexuality. And I think it's sad that a 15 year old can see that better than most adults!

The right to be legally married to and to have access to the benefits that marriage brings, legally and otherwise, is a right that everyone should have. It doesn't matter who you fall in love with, as long as you love and can promise to do that for better or worse.

Love is Love. And who you love is up to you. And how you show it should be up to you too.

10. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

9. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Gay marriage should be decided by the people and their elected representatives, not the courts. The framers checked the courts, which represent mainstream public opinion, with legislatures created to protect the rights of minorities from the tyranny of the majority. Interference by courts in this matter is inappropriate, just as it has been every time the courts have tried to hold back legislatures pushing for civil rights.

6. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

5. Civil unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better, because “separate but equal” institutions are a good way to satisfy the demands of uppity minority groups.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

Because marriage should be a choice. And not a choice made by some stuffy elitists who've never met you either. Gay marriage is insulting? Really? Because we take straight marriage so seriously these days too.
