i am a bi sexual female and i dont believe in gay marriage.i absolutely love women but no matter how much i do i would not get married to one.its just not right,you can love the same sex and be in a devoted relationship and not get married.and another thing i have loved women ever since i can remember..at a very young age like 4 or 5 years old but i know that its wrong in the eyes of god and i will have to pay for my feelings toward women one day and i am at peace with that

and no i do not agree with same sex marriage marriage is for the primary reason of forming a partnership to raise chidren and i do not feel same sex couples should raise children... but thats a whole new can of worms isn't it

I support it. people need to stop legislating their personal opinions on everyone else. I believe in The Most High myself but why should other adults that pay taxes be forced to live by my religion if they dont choose to?

Since gay marriage is illegal, why dont we force everyone to attend church weekly too? Why dont we ban divorces and criminalize premarital sex too? HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE

Homosexuals, Heterosexuals, Black, White, Intelligent, Unintelligent, Etc...all deserve and are entitled to the same rights under the constitution. All are inherent traits that people are born with and last I heard the constitution covers all people regardless of creed, sexual orientation, national origin, race or political affiliation. Being Gay or Straight is not a choice just as one does not choose to be Black or White. All people deserve the same rights. Organized religion in the south, in many instances, has caused a lot of discrimination and bigotry and a sense of "elitism" (holier than thou because I'm white...holier that thou because I'm wealthy...holier than thou because I'm a heterosexual, and the list can go on and on). Very sad. There are many churches that preach love and not hate. I have attended both throughout my lifetime and have come to the conclusion that preaching hatred is partly the cause of all the discrimination that ensues today. The old school mentality, "Big Box" churches are becoming archaic and more and more people are electing to not attend any church at all. There are many, many churches that preach "Love of All people" and I hope those struggling will find one that will accept them with open arms. Politicians use this "hot button" topic every election to "stir the pot" and get voters to the polls. Most educated people see beyond this political tactic and vote based on the candidates qualifications and not on the candidate's personal opinions of a certain group of people. We are all entitled to our own opinons, that's what makes life interesting. But like the old addage says, "opinions are like derrieres, we all have them, and most of them stink".

I don't get worked up about this, but since marrage usually does not work well for straight couples, why do gays think it will be any better for them? Divorce lawyers are probably foaming at the mouth to get the 1st gay divorce.

It never ceases to amaze me though how many people think THEY know what GOD intended...... Lots of televangelists get rich spouting their verson of what GOD intended.

Can't we all just get along? My sister is bi that's her choice, I can't make her str8 just as she cant make me approve og her lifestyle, just deal with it, let it be and live yo life...gee-wiz!!

I continue to hear about homosexual students and other individuals that are committing suicide and most are suffering from severe depression. It has also been proven statistically that men who are married to women are happier and live longer. I believe that these facts state the obvious. Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. Also, if homosexuality were a correct way of life, these couples would be able to reproduce. Homosexuality stems from some for of rejection in one's life or from an overwhelming desire of lust in the flesh.
