there is no reason two consenting adults in love should not be able to get married, regardless of their gender. stable relationships benefit everybody in the community.

I want to marry a woman someday. And I don't want that to be up to anyone else to decide.

Because a) There's nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian or any of that (and if you think there is, maybe you should spend less of your time thinking about other people's sex lives) and b) equal rights for EVERYBODY YAY

Why the hell shouldn't someone have the right to get married? It's completely unconstitutional and against our unalienable rights as citizens.

Because nobody has the right to stand in the way of love between two consenting adults. Nobody. Don't like the idea of marrying someone of your gender? THEN DON'T DO IT.

There's absolutely no reason two consenting adults can't enter into exactly the same legal contract that any other two adults can enter into. Creating something separate and devoid of the same benefits and often times dignity and trying to tout it as equal is a fallacy. Let any two people who want to take on the commitment together do it without the judgment of millions who do not know them holding them back.
