Hon, that's not the question. Twist until you're standing on your head (by you, I maean that train of thought) if it helps.
Then stop, clear your mind and ask youself, what does marriage mean, what is it's purpose, why do we aspire to have it?
Why is it necessary in our society to persevere and grow?
Does the answer mean you're unfeeling? No.
Does it mean you're uncaring? No.
It means you understand the political and humane affects.
This may be difficut to answer if you went to a public school or a private college in the last 30 years.
That's all we can ask.

Marriage is a legally binding contract between one man and one woman in order to protect the woman and her current or future children financially. It has absolutely nothing to do with two men, two women, or two animals.

If you want to lend some much needed support, there is a Pastor fighting a great big huge denomination and about to have his credentials taken because he believes their policy on homosexuals is wrong.
