If you read the Bible you will notice the first families consisted of only men yet children were produced. How? Also, how come Eve had no daughter in laws? Had did her sons come up with kids? The anti-gay marriage movement reall is in it because they can handle people who are differant and think that homoasexuals can be controlled by prohibitting gay marriage.

God created us all, there will always be gays. They have the right to a happy safe fulfilled life. They make as good or better parents than alot of straight families. Leave them alone, let them be.

Your decision

The freedom to marry is a question of civil rights and equal access to government services. No other marriages are threatened nor are religious organizations required to change their doctrines - if a gay couple gets a marriage license from the clerk's office. This is America. Let people live privately, as they wish.

Did you know that both Boy and Girl Scouts were started by gays and lesbians? Alan Turing was gay and he did important work on the computer invoving multiplying while he was being fruitful. If he did not do his work on the computer there wouuld have been fewer people in England. So there! GROW UP!

I believe it's wrong to limit who can love eachother and who can't You can love who you want to this is the country of the free!

No one has the right to decide who someone else should be allowed to love.

Who cares what another individual does with there life. So let me get this straight a man is suppose to be with a women yada yada, that's cool to each his own opinion. But you're basing this on the potential that you may RUN into this person and you don't want to see it in public? So this person has to rearrange there whole life, and not be with who they love because you don't want to SEE IT? Out of the millions of people in the world. Close minded people.

Love should always be natural. Universal acceptance should always be natural. What isn't natural is your hypocritical hatred and ignorance.

Of coure, civil marriage is a civil right. That is what a marriage license is - a right under the civil law to, in this case, sign a mutually binding contract.

Under our federal constitution, some consenting adults cannot be turned away from the court house, while other consenting adults are given this service. Any government that bars some adults from a service which is offered to others must demonstrate a compelling reason for doing so. Since there is no compelling reason to bar same-sex couples from receiving a service (marriage license) that others receive, same-sex marriage is legal - as the federal courts have found. Initiatives and referendums that run counter will be found un-constitutional.

Of course, any church organization can have more limiting rules and may not be required to perform marriages that run counter to doctrines. Such restrictions do not violate anyone's civil right to take out a marriage license.

But remember, the right to marry civilly is what we are talking about - a government service.
